Slicker This Year is bringing a new sound to Western Kansas: Modern Funk. The band has taken their influences in jazz, blues, and funk and turned them into a sound that has been compared to the Kansas bands Pomeroy and The U.N.I.T. The energy of their live show has raised the bar for live music in Western Kansas, and they intend to bring that energy to all of Kansas with their upcoming tour.
