Transportation around Hays, Kansas!MOTOR COACH BUS When Hays began there journey they had what was called an Access Van. This van took people around town for convenience. Now it is not called that the name changed to Motor Coach Bus. The city of Hays Convention and Visitors Bureau provides the use of one (1) 40 passengers and (1) 12 passenger mini bus to be used for the following services: First to provide transportation for local groups and visitors to area attractions in Hays and Ellis County. Provide transportation for scheduled tours in conjunction with “Convention Tour Programs”. Also provides shuttle service for convention groups from lodging accommodations to meeting or banquet facilities. (Only a minimum of 10 people are required for this service) To aid with the city or community projects that require transportation for groups. Last to transport services as approved by the Convention and Visitors Bureau staff which may include weddings, reunions, or other events. FEE SCHEDULE Rental of Hays Convention and Visitors Bureau bus is $25.00 per hour (any portion of an hour is also calculated at $25.00 per hour) Driver Fee is $10.00 per hour (any portion of an hour is also calculated at $10.00 per hour) Tour Guide Service is a donation of $2.00 per person is recommended for the tour guide. ***Prices are Subject to Change Maximum capacity is 40 passengers for the bus and 12 passengers for the mini bus The client assumes full responsibility for any and all damages caused by either themselves or their guests whether by accident, neglect or intent during the time a bus is used.
