Hays All American City 1996 In 1996 Hays, Kansas won the prestigious All-American City award. Hays competed against 30 other cities as a finalist, some of the competition included Boston and greater New Orleans, and Buffalo N.Y. The All-American city award is a testament to the high standards that the community places upon itself. The city of Hays has been commended and praised for a variety of accomplishments. Such accolades are not handed out on a whim; and focuses on the tenacity of the community to achieve a quality of life that is nationally recognized. |
